Traditional Clay Pot: Asanka
The traditional clay pot (Asanka) serve as a cooking utensil which is placed between triangular mounds of clay with smoldering firewood coals as a heat source. It’s an ancient utensil which is still in use today. Clay pots are made from the very common earthenware clay due to its high plasticity.
